A lot of people don’t even know about it.It is a simple and safe way to remove the vellus hair (peach fuzz) from your entire face. It is a procedure that should only be done by a properly trained Medical Esthetician in a medical office or spa.
Unlike threading , waxing or shaving this procedure is done with a medical blade and gently removes the hair from your face without manipulating the hair follicle.
The purpose is to gently exfoliate the epidermis non -chemically and also safe for pregnant women as well. This procedure can also be performed on men but only on the upper cheekbones and forehead. The removal of dead skin cells ,dirt,oil and impurities are optimal with added benefit of removing unwanted hair.
The superficial vellus hair (as it is called in the Esthetic world) will not grow back any thicker or faster leaving you with a clean slate as I put it.
